What the course is about

In this course, you will create eight watercolour artworks that blend realism and abstraction. Working alongside the instructor, you will progress step by step from loose washes to expressive compositions, learning to think like an artist by identifying what is essential, simplifying the rest and expressing atmosphere rather than copying reality.

You will explore key watercolour techniques, such as wet-on-wet, layering, dry brushing and scratching, and learn how to use them with confidence to create balanced, atmospheric paintings that express emotion. These skills will enable you to simplify complex subjects and add depth, light and movement to your work.

This course is ideal for beginner and intermediate watercolour artists looking to break free from rigid realism and incorporate more emotion, atmosphere and personal expression into their work. It is perfect for those looking to deepen their understanding of composition, simplify complex subjects and adopt a more intuitive and artistic approach to painting.

Of course you should! The course is designed so that it starts with simple paintings and then progresses to more complex ones, allowing you to smoothly integrate into the process and achieve high results!

The course will also be beneficial for experienced artists. You will further refine your technique and enhance your visual understanding.

At the end of the lesson, you will upload a photo of your work. The teacher will have the opportunity to leave textual, graphic (annotations on the drawing), as well as audio comments on your work.

At the bottom of each lesson, there will be a comment section where you can ask any questions related to the learning process.

If you have a plan without feedback, it will depend on your personal pace at which you complete the lessons.

With plans that include feedback, we actively conduct lessons for two months from the moment you "unfreeze" the course.

Overall, I recommend taking the course at a relaxed pace. Enjoy the process more!
